Yes...I saw your pics with the carved stryo...looked really cool. I used to work in chemical plants...and was concerned about the styrene in the styrofoam. I know the viv's don't get that hot..but with the combination of humidity, heat and being in an enclosure...wasn't sure if it would produce and toxic fumes.

you have to seal the styrofoam. Usually with mortar, epoxy, or silicone....

Yeah, I threw the background out a while back there was some smell I didnt like it seemed that the epoxy did not work well with the Styrofoam and paint. I will have to redo the background.

I think that was standard blue insulation foam that you can get from home depot. 8 feet x 2 feet x 2 inch I think.
