I have a 4" X 5" heat mat (under tank) where his warm hide is and the other side I have his water dish plus a tiny soaked terra cotta piece that is nice and cool to the touch. He is actually on the cool side right now right up against the terra cotta piece.......the warm side is between 82 and 84 and the cool side is about 75. I wonder if its too warm in there?
