I am wanting to build a bigger, better enclosure for my green iguana whose current one is not adequate for its size. My idea is to make a frame with either PVC or maybe wood, and plastic coated wire mesh for the walls. As the iguana is inside and wire enclosures should only be used for outdoors, i was thinking maybe a heavy duty plastic around the outside of the wire or a tent-like material. Something the iguana cannot penetrate with its long nails. And it needs to be able to hold enough humidity. I don't really want to use plexiglas as I’m not sure how expensive it is and am on a budget. I wish to make something efficient for my iguana but also not too expensive (is this even possible?). Maybe some of you have suggestions of other materials to use. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
