T.V Stand Converted in Dragon Cage

Will this work for a Bearded Dragon Enclosure? Its approximatly 5ft long X 2ft wide X 3ft + tall. The odd support board you see will have an oval cut in it to pass in and out of. The food (greens) will be in that little area. I will be using linoleum or slate as a substrate (would rather use sand though..). A SB 100 watt (reptileuv.com great ligths) will be ordered when im done. The doors will be eiter plexi or glass on a sliding track. And for shelving it will those wire closet shelves one for basking and a ramp to it. Then some miscelanuos stuff so its not WIDE open space will be added heres it gutted out.

Should have specified more. That cage will sit on the floor with sliding tracked glass or plexi for doors. There will be Mercury Vapor Lamps inside the cage. The back wall is now up with linoleum (granite looking stuff) covering the back wall. All the top/side/bottom and etc will be sealed with GE Silicone batroom sealer. The substrate will not be sand as I dont want to make a litter dam. The substrate will probably be linoleum OR slate bricks cut to fit in. The shelves will be wire closet shelving running the entire back/sides with a ramp or two up and down. I'll get more pics when im further down the road.

Instead of the GE Silicone bathroom sealer, you should use an aquarium-grade silicone; kitchen and bath sealers are silicone and acrylic usually (so they're paintable) and contain moldicides/fungicides which can be toxic. You'll need to be sure the silicone (and all the other improvements) are completely cured before moving your Bearded Dragons in.

I think it's a great idea to recycle furniture into creative enclosures... good thinking.
