Palm Trees With An Iguana

Hi. i went to walmart the other day and saw that they had palm trees on sale. why they were selling them in the winter and so many of them is beyond me but I was wondering if anyone knew if this was a good plant to put in an iguana enclosure? does it help with fresh air and humidity? and are they used to the high temps and high humidity in an ig enclosure? odes anyone know if they would last in an ig enclosure? I think it would be a good sturdy plant for him to climb all over. but is it edible for them and non-toxic? i would like to put it in one corner of the enclosure while he has shelves on the other side and a pool in the middle of the enclosure on a lifted box/floor. please let me know what you think of this idea.

As has been pointed out in previous questions live plants are just not going to stand up to an iguana's adventuring.
As intriguing as the idea of a living, natural type, enclosure is, with something like an iguana it just isn't practical, short of a huge greenhouse type enclosure
