Welcome to HC. I dont think it would be a good idea to mix either.

Welcome to HC. I would advise against interbreeding these 2 species - although VERY similar in appearance, requirements, size etc they have 2 very different genetic make ups and are form 2 totally different regions of the world.
It might be nice to see a brown stripey leopard gecko but hey, if people want a brown stripey one they can just buy a AFT gekco lol |

Breeding of hybrids is wrong and nasty. You get a mutt, with the chance of them being sterile. Like a mule, its just there to be used for random work. Im against them personaly, but thats me.

In the case of a hybrid between Hemitheconyx caudicinctus and Eublepharis macularis, we are not only talking about different species, we are talking about different genera. The chances of two species within the same genus is already low, but is seen on occasion between species of close relationship, not too far removed (close phylogenetic relationship). In the case of Hemitheconyx caudicinctus and Eublepharis macularis, we see species of different genera that have evolved in different biogeographical regions and do not have a close phylogenetic relationship. Not possible. Even though we see examples of Python sebae and Python molurus producing hybrids and coming from different biogeographical areas, they are of the same genus and have a close phylogenetic relationship.
