If you think I was yelling at you Mike, well, I wasn't
I just get all fired up and mad at sites like that and get so sick of everyone getting ripped off by not reading the small print that those types of sites owners try to sneak in there on people.
I say leave your post up here too. You may just have saved a bunch of people (including yourself ) from being ripped off!
And we all learned something about this just because YOU brought it to our attention (and that's a great thing!)
Thanks Mike...

Jem

Yes any legitimate post that causes people to look and think about something is of value.

What part of St. Louis do you live in? I moved away form there about 2 years ago, and I plan on moving back someday.

And nobody here is mad at you... Don't feel stupid for bringing this up, that's what we're here for. I got gypped on my Ball Python when I first bought her a few months ago. If I had asked around this site, I would've paid about $50 less, and not bought the "perfect snake starter kit" for an additional $50.

Hello,

Firstly, you can't delete this thread. You don't have that ability. All you can do is delete your posts. The original post that started the thread will always remain unless a mod or admin deletes it.

That prevents a member from bashing another member and then destroying the thread.

Now, I also noticed that this thread has been viewed a number of times. not to burst your bubble, but thread views do not dictate a feeling toward the poster. They signify that the topic was worthy of reading. Your thread helped to bring some things to light.

Also, the posts you wrote that were deleted were not needed. There are a number of "guests" that visit the site. They can read/view the thread, but unless they join....they can't post.

When someone has some input, they will post. If they don't have anything constructive to add, they will read and move on. There isn't a need for " I have 12 views and no responses! meanies!"
