Marbled Geckos

Does anyone here keep marbled geckos? We just bought 2 today ( 1 male, 1 female) I was just wondering if it's normal for them to be chattering at each other? We have different kinds of geckos as well ( 1 tokay, 1 crestie, and 2 Leopard Geckos) but none of them really make any noise unless you bother them. Our tokay "barks" when we clean his tank and such. But these two keep talking away to each other. Is this normal? They don't seem to be fighting, and I haven't really noticed any aggressive behavior. They are both about 5-6 inches long. Any info would be great. I have all the facts on temps and stuff, just not sure of the whole "talking" thing.

Wow, that is very interesting! We keep Marbles at work, very neat looking geckos. But I've never heard them "talk". Once one kinda barked when I picked it up, but that's like a Tokay. I'm not sure about your question. Is it loud talking? Seems intertaining! *lol* Someone else will after to answer for you.

Maybe you should seperate them for the most part, the audible sound is either mating or territory defense. I'm not too sure though, maybe they purr like a cat

It's not really loud (definately not purring either...lol) It almost sounds like the noise monkeys make (yeah, I know how stupid that sounds ) it's like a chittering sound, not overly loud. They were housed together when we bought them (along with about 8 golden geckos...poor things in that little tank). They are definately male and female, maybe it is mating calls! I will watch closely , if I see any aggresive behavior, will separate them for sure.
