Please help this gecko!

My friend gave me two lizards to care for, they are in possibly the worst living conditions. I was told by her that I had in my possession a rainbow amieva (he's fine, absolutely perfect) and a leopard gecko. Searching care sheets on the net, I have discovered leopard geckos don't stick to things, and this one does. She needs an identity. She is not marble, leopard, tokay (although she may be, she's vicious), or skunk (as has been told to me). It's driving me crazy! I know exactly what I need to care for her, but I'd like to know breed-specific and it's hard when I don't know the breed!
Here's the best pic I have of her. I will take more if more are needed, but she's hard to get (so fast).

Was it wild caught by your friend? If so where does your friend live? How big is it?

Robyn..That looks like a white spotted gecko. Looks like their diets consist of crickets, mealworms, waxworms, silkworms etc. They can reach 6 inches. They can live in a 15-20 gallon houses one or possibly a pair. Height is better than width is better for housing. Let you know if I can find any thing else.

Good call Marsha, Im almost positive that its a white spotted gecko (Tarantela annularis) as well, they are an agressive species (but I see you know that already) and arent really for handling also be warned that this species is VERY quick on the ground so be careful when cleaning and feeding

Heres a pic of one Id have to say it's definetley a WSG

On a related note, the sand that is in the tank for substrate is alright, I take it? He LOVES to dig, but I'd like to get actual clean sand for him. How do you clean sand?? And I mean that for the amieva, not the gecko.
