I can't help you with the identity i'm afraid, but are they being housed together? - mixing species is generally not a good idea, although occasionally it can work. Usually diff. species will require diff. housing, feeding, etc,. so once you can accurately identify the other lizard they might need diff. things.

I hope you find out what this lizard is, and I hope they do well for you. Good luck and well done for taking them in and trying your best for them.

She's light brown with lighter spots in about three lines down her back and tail. White belly. Approximatly 8 inches long with dark greeny-gold eyes. No spikes on her skin, but it has it's wrinkly folds around her arms and belly. Pet store bought. (I've never seen a gecko in Canada, although I know they exist here). As before, she's mean and nasty and has been mistaken for a tokay. But definitely a female, there's no pronounced bump at the base of the tail (this is what I've read).
They're being housed together, yes. Bad idea, but the owners don't know anything about these lizards, trust me. I separated them, but kept the gecko in sight of the amieva and the amieva tried to dig over and kept looking at her. The were both really distressed by it. I have a pic of her sticking to the tank wall, but it's terrible. I hope it helps anyway. I have spent literally hours a day and have been all over forums to try and identify her.

My camera batteries are in the charger, so check back for more pics this afternoon. I'll try my best to get good shots.

Rich, that looks like her in colour, but the toes are wrong (I looked at the other pics). Those lizards have very splayed out toes and Spunk's quite normal in that area. I just took some more pics of her, maybe they'll help. I know the first and last ones are bad, but hte two middle ones should give you a fantastic idea of her colouring. I had the tank by a window.

She's a golden gecko "aka yellow gecko" (Gekko ulikovskii). I've seen them in pet stores many times and had one once. I'm 99% sure that's a golden. I've seen many with broken paterns like that, they're a fairly common gecko, though not compared to Leopard Geckos or Crested Geckos. Very closely related to skunk geckos, and aside from the color, they're nearly identical. They come in many shades of gold, from a nearly grey one, to bright yellow, and can be unpatterned, striped, or blotchy like yours. Here's some other pics of goldies:

If its not a golden then it would have to be some less common gecko closely related to one.

I'm going to agree with golden, just because those pictures really look like her. She's so malnourished, though, that I'm sure it's affecting her colour.

I'd set up a seperate habitat for your goldie though. They're a tropical species, preferring a warm, humid, heavily planted enclosure, similar to that of anoles, but with no UVB required. They've also been known to accept fruit and baby food as part of their diet, like Crested Geckos. Insects should always remain the bulk of the diet though.

Kudos to Deltro and Marsha for IDing the first pic though, even if it was the wrong gecko, lol. That's a white-spotted wall gecko, no doubt. I've got one back home named Libiya.

I've just gotten wind from someone that she is most likely a sandstone gecko, commonly sold under the name golden gecko in stores. The picture posted looked identical to her, but I can't find sandstone gecko on the net. I appreciate the patience from everyone. As long at they're closely related and have the same needs, I'm ready not to care at this point. The original owner is going to go buy her a bunch of stuff soon. The porrthings don't even have feeding dishes! And I don't think they're drinking water.
