Re: Gecko Idea for 15H
I have a White Spotted Wall Gecko in a 10 gallon with a 10 gallon tank topper on top, there mainly arboreal, but do spend some time on the ground, a 15 would probaly work great, there UVB independent, and have a larger temp and humidity range they do well in, There a sub-saharan species, and also have a thriving colony in flordia to give you an idea. Very cool looing little guys, but very much so display, i actualy have been able to "pet" my gecko, but any more than that and he jets off, they are very fast. I don't know how easy they are to find, but i know there's at least one online breeder that sells them, mine was a rescue.

Re: Gecko Idea for 15H
Hmm.... I like the idea of an arboreal gecko that can handle dry climates and setup. Not sure on the skittish nature though, I'd like to handle mine, but it's worth a thought. Thanks for the tip!!

Re: Gecko Idea for 15H
Hi Ryanpb,
I am learning my way around this site, slowly, hehe. Have downloaded a pic of an egg I found in my garden shed. Would you know if it would be a gecko egg? Thanks for your post. I was wondering if the gecko would be less skittish, if you had raised it when it was much younger, and got it used to being handled. Cheers, Catz ![]() |
