I figured out what type of gecko i have

Ok the dune gecko I got is a Stenodactylus Doriae. He/she is doing much better now I think he/she is about to shed. I was wondering if someone could help me find a specific care sheet for that gecko. I've been looking all day on the internet and driving around pet store to pet store. If anyone could please help me find one it would be wonderful. I thank-you for your help.

I've got a Steno, i dont think its a Doriae though im having a hard time finding out esactly what he is, mine lives in a ten gallon with about 2 inches of sand, an Under Tank Heater, small water bowl, 2 hides and two low silk plants. i mist him at night and feed him as many crickets as he wants.
oh the warm spot above the heater is at about 95 F

the picture is when he was under weight from being afaid of the crickets I cant find a recent one at the moment, but has filled out now

I'd keep on researching though. The various Stenodactylus look a lot alike. Here's some sites that may prove helpful:

pics of Stenodactylus doriae:

list of other Stenodactylus:
http://www.fact-index.com/s/st/stenodactylus.html

info on Stenodactylus:
http://www.nafcon.dircon.co.uk/geckos_stenodact.html

list and pics of Stenodactylus: http://www.geckoworld.co.uk/gallery/...nodactylus.htm

They've only recently been gaining popularity, so there's not a whole lot of info on them. Care for all the Stenodactylus is pretty similar though.

That is a Stenodactylus petri, sidedark bar is typical of the species. Doriae is very rare in captivity.
