Yup. The pet store only took 4 despite the loads and loads of fun garters actually are. The mother was rescued from a construction site and surprised us with her multiplying gratitude. (grin). I've only picked five awesome color variations and the rest will go forth and multiply in the wild.
I'm only thinking of keeping any at all because Fisher (the mother) is absolutely the best snake I've ever owned. Even as a wild caught she is docile and calm yet supper curious and not shy (eats tilapia filets and earthworms right out of our hands).
