The Green snakes are most, if not all, WC and even experienced keepers have difficulty keeping them alive for very long. They just don't do well in captivity.

insect-eating snakes very hard to find.. because insects has no or not enough nutritional value to keep them going.. i've read that some garters do eat insects but not as their staple deit.. you could try piscivorous snakes like filesnakes(Acrochordus granulatus, A. javancus, A. arafura).. good luck
