i've also been surprised at some of the characters they put in. though it seems at this point they took out the characters we've used in Melee so that will be kind of stinky. guess we'll have to figure out new characters to play as.

Brawl will own, All the characters in it now are awesome. What other fighting game has Snake in it? Sonic is in it so that is a big plus to it. That was always a rurmor for melee. It is said that they are putting megaman in as a last edit, but no one knows for sure lol.
Matt thats kind of a close minded statement. There are a ton of great games for the wii not to mention all the VC games, even though we dont get good ones all the time, there are still gems there. Right now Im playing No More Heros for Wii. That is one awesome game, no other game compares to it. Its freaking awesome. And yes end of this year they are saying mario kart with unlockable motorbikes!
