BBQ, what's your pleasure?

I like most BBQ styles, but must say that my favorite is Carolina Pulled pork.
I use a spicey, sweet rub on boston butts cooked over a 200 F fire with either apple or pecan wood for smoke. The butts get mopped every hour with a combination of rub, apple cider and apple cider vinegar. Usually takes around 10 hours for 4 butts. I know exactly when it's done, because the bone pulls right out. Most folks won't add BBQ sauce as the rub is really tasty.

Sides are usually roast corn on the cob and a coleslaw with a vinegar bass. The coleslaw receipe is from Emeril and called Maw Maw's Slaw.

Icey cold Abbita Amber or Tourbo Dog and I'm good to go.

I'll do babyback ribs with the same rub and mop.

Ok you Texans, I know brisket is your thing, but pork rules!

Man. That sounds good. I'm coming over for BBQ next time I'm in Florida. I lov e pork as well. I don't take the time to dance with it like you do though. My next fav would be rotisserie chicken. Rotated over a can of beer. It boils and sucks up the flavour in to the chicken. Makes it very tender. Is it lunch time yet?

love the pulled pork. I don't know too much about different types of BBQ, but I do know there is this great place not too far from work.

Of course I'm from buffalo, so i'm more of a beef on wick kinda person.

Im not a big fan of sweet sauces, but I love spicy BBQ on pork, chicken or beef. My favorite, though, is corn. There is nothing better than a fresh grilled ear of corn. Mmmm.
