Canada I guess is famous for the Tim Hortons chain. But to be honest their coffee really bites. I don't think any of you would like it. Since U.S. coffee is fairly weak compared to ours. I only drink coffee to stay awake. I would much rather have a spot of tea I would say. After cutting the lawn on a hot day(yes we get hot days in Canada) I really need one of those beverages that contain barley. As for sodapop I need to lean towards the Coke Zero. I don't need all that sugar in me. Diabetes runs in my family.

water, coffee, tea, any kind of juice as long as its 100% natural, milk and the occasional glass of pinot grigio and I'm a sucker for REALLY DARK beers.
I WISH we had a Tim Hortons. I always stop by and get donuts and a can of hot chocolate mix whenever I'm visiting my parents. Sometimes if i'm really lucky, my mom will ship me a new container when I run out.

Well, basically coffee, but its very different from US coffee (much stronger and concentrated) - believe me.
I US couple (friends of mine) came here for a visit, wanted a coffee after dinner - saying that they were used to drinking coffee all day with no problem - and...they both coulnd´t sleep all night long...Well, I warned them, lol
And now that the temperature is starting to feel nicer (around 70 F and going up) its becoming difficult to resist to a chilled beer at lunchtime. And to think that in August it will be around 90 F or more...

We also get those temps in the interior South (region called Alentejo). Last year they had several days over 110F.
Both Lisbon and Algarve (were I divide my days) are by the seaside and the weather is more temperated: usually doesn´t get below 45-50F in the winter or over 95-100F in the hotest days in the summer (with a few exceptions to confirm the rule)
