I know i've been whining and moanng about how its not fair that everyone is finding stuff and i'm still up here in WA freezing my butt off, but I finally got the chance to go out and snoop around and low and behold I would consider today a sucess!
The weather was less than ideal...windy, pretty overcast and about 64 degrees but there were a few sunbreaks so I tried my luck anyways.

At first I had no luck....I thought that this was going to be as close as I would come to seeing a snake:


But then as soon as I was ready to give up this Gopher crossed my path:






Which boosted my moral so I kept herping, and just as I was ready to pack it up again I spotted a I am pretty sure is a Racer...but don't hold me to it...:




I saw another Gopher and Another Racer, but I wasn't quick enough on the draw with my camera so they got away. I also ran into some other wildlife...

Yeah it's about time! I've been waiting to go herping since like....october! But either way its 54 degrees and rainy today so no herping....I think the only snake i'd be able to find would be that first one anyways, I have a feeling he's not going anywhere!
Oh well...it can't rain all the time.
