Aw, in my 7 months in Texas I never once saw any alligators or armadillos  Cool pics though. I want an armadillo someday

I'm so jealous! You sound upset that you only saw turtles gators and armadillos, I would be soooo excited....granted all I ever find around her with any regularity are garter snakes, and only for a few months of the year.

Oh no Lacey, I was quite excited,,,even did a happy dance or jump not sure, lol. Usually the only armadillos I see are the dead ones, so it was surprising.
There is another thread with more gators and some sliders

I suppose I'd probably do a 'happy herper' display too if I had something more exciting to look at other than the garter snakes.
