Alberta field herping

In the wilds this past year I've seen a Garter snake, I am pretty sure it was a western garter snake. It was very upset with me so I let it go in short order.

I've also seen a 4 foot long prairie rattlesnake...by seen I mean I was about an inch from its face with my boot when I almost stepped on it. It just woke up from hibernation and wasn't rattling or it would have tagged me.

A few wood frogs too, they are so small and cute.

Since I'm in desolate Alberta with ONE native lizard, I'm going to count ones from years back.

I saw a small agamid-looking lizard on a beach in San Diego. What could that have been? It looked ALOT like a mini bearded dragon but it took off very fast under some rocks.
