My Field Trip (Documented)

Saturday was a warm day so I went out to turn over some rocks in Ozark Cnty, Missouri which is about 20 minutes from where I live. The scenery is nice.

This is where I was looking. These rocky hillsides are called cedar glades in this part of the world.

I found this lizard under the very first rock I looked under.

A few rocks later I found this lizard. I think it is called a Six-Lined Racerunner. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

To my amazement, I found this Collard Lizard. It is just a babe. I brought it to the house and will turn it loose close by.

I also found 3 Black Widows and 3 scorpions!!! This is 2 of the Centruroides vittatus I found. One is bigger than the other 2.

That place will just keep getting better as the weather warms up. I use to collect all sorts of animals there when I was a kid.
