No Luck on Lizards but Something else Instead
Well one day I was out in the back, not looking for a snake but some lizards and well, heh, what you know, I found a rat snake lol.
But then I went the front yard and looked across the road and saw a nice hawk, ok I know it's not a reptile but it was cool
and then I looked into the bushes and found a baby bird... I was thinking where are all the lizards lol
too bad for me I did not find any lizards that day

re: No Luck on Lizards but Something else Instead
If you set a goal, it is the law of herping that you will usually find everything but the goal. I have found that when people tell me a place is crawling with something I will find everything short of that one thing. I see snakes EVERYWHERE around here until the day I have my hook a few pillow cases and a camera handy, then there is nothing to be found. I can go put away the stuff, close the truck door, walk around to get in the drivers side and something will crawl between my legs and into a spot I can't fish it out of so that I can't get things out again.
This is why I always plan several consecutive trips, I generally will find what I want when I am not prepared to find it.
Great pictures though, scales or not, the hawk is cool.

Nice pictures. Maybe the first two critters took care of the lizards.

Lol that was what I was thinking. All your lizards are in the rat snake and the hawk. But yes those where some awesome pictures.
