well as some of you might know I have been away again as usual on another herping research mission. Was looking for 2 different historic populations of 2 different snake species... more info on the work will follow in time. Made real good progress, will just have to wait for winter to end...argh! haha winter here right now but still a few herps around...

this time I will do somthing different and post the other side of the herping missions...behind the scenes if u will... the other animals etc.

was mostly in swaziland and mozambique...also a section in south africa.

the sketchiest ferry in the world in my book...was so dodgy, we needed to cross this river, the "non-existent" roads on the other side were worse! A nice deserted beach was a bit of reward on the other side:

The croc picture is definitely my favorite.

You really need to clean your sensor, look at the sky on your deserted beach picture. (Which by the way is my favorite from an artistic standpoint)
