Eastern Milk

Hey, the eastern milk is one snake a really want to find but in 5years of searching I've only seen one in the wild and I didn't even find it, my neighbor did. I have a hugee swamp/lake/forest behind my house and I've gone searching an all I can ever find are garters, ribbons, dekay's, and water snakes. I've looked everywhere you can find a snake, I don't know if there just not in this section of my town or what but I'd like some tips on finding a eastern. Thanks

Re: Eastern Milk

Just a question here. Do you not think wild should remain wild?

Re: Eastern Milk

I'm not looking for on to keep it (although if I found a hatching or small juvenile I'd have to think about it, lol to temptig), Its just I've always just wanted to find one in the wild, I think they are among the most interesting snakes native to Massachsetts and I've been looking for them for a long time and nce I start something I have to finish it lol.

Re: Eastern Milk

I've always had the best luck in really rocky areas close to water.
