I'm so late on this thread but thought I'd throw my 2 cents in. If you haven't yet gotten Buddy on veggies, here's what I do:
Chop the veggies pretty small and roll them into meat balls with ground turkey. I feed Tabatha 3 meat balls twice a week as well as 4 f/t mice 3x week. I toss in a few cockroaches now and then too.
