Alright, People...
This is one of my favorite sections of the forums. I love to see animals in their element.
Sooooo, get out there and take pictures! I am so busy with kids' volleyball and softball that I don't have time for field herping. Allow me to live through your pictures . It's getting consistently warmer - the animals should be out, so GET GOING .What, you are still sitting there? GO GO GO!!! ![]() |

I love taking pics of herps in the wild. Unfortunately there aren't many where I live. I need to drive about 2 1/2 hrs to find some snakes. Except garters of course.

I'll definitely be out herping and taking pictures...as soon as my foot heals. It's so annoying to be confined indoors all day. What's even more annoying is somehow I'm still always busy!

I see lots of herps all the time on my hikes, I'm just terrible at remembering my camera! Saw more frogs today.

nice lacey! that garter is awesome...hope to find garters while I am here in the US. Our garters are venomous elapids back home...but haha they are quite rare finds and still have to find one someday. But as for last years herping pics....i am sure you have all seen the hundreds lol.

Garters are stinky...I feel bad because I usually harass them before hand to get them to musk if I need to move them to take a photo...or I tell a friend to gently move it so they get stinky and not me!
