A successful day
Long story short, I went for a walk today and in the process of turning over logs I found a valley and ridge salamander ( Plethodon hoffmani). I've never seen one before, and what's cool is to the best of my knowledge they're not documented in Anne Arundel county.
Anyway, I figured I'd tease you all because pics will come....later tonight

man....watching time like this is pretty bad for my mind I think.... i am seeing salamanders everywhere(and I have never ever seen one before). this is not good! help me!!!!!

Haha, ok, as promised, here are pics
Keep in mind this little bugger would not sit still for me at all. Savannah has named him Fred-Savannah  He's about 4-5 inches long.
