here are some more pics from the research trip as promised! ok landscape photos first...this was the view from the place where I slept.   rhombic egg eater  tent tortoise   spotted sand lizard  millions of locusts  and a deadly parabuthus- i dunno the species, too lazy to find out   |

Wow Dev, you never told me you visited North Dakota!
 (apparently that region of Africa looks a lot like it, lol)I love the locust shot! Reminds me of popcorn or something, and just as crunchy! Mmmmmm... Oh, and I'm pretty sure your scorpion is Parabuthus villosus. I'm JEALOUS!
