haha I was just riding home a few minutes ago and this guy caught my eye. He was busy showing off his bright colours to a female... it is just the end of winter so I had to catch him...no herps for a while...lol

it is a Southern Tree Agama(for other nerds... acanthocercus atricollis)
These guys are really agro little buggers...like Bearded Dragons on steroids...and they bite HARD! I got nailed by him

You can see how bright his colours were when I spotted him...then once holding him went really dark. you can also see their two fang like teeth on their upper jaws...very cool critters... he was happy when i took him back to his girls tho... well after tasting me...haha(they bite and then don't let go)

i haven't posted pics in a while so I snapped away...sorry there are so many of one agama...










haha this don't look sore but it was...lol turned into a bruise now
