Ahhh I was gonna head out for a scratch in the bush yesterday but was raining and raining and raining........
Today it cleared up and as soon as the wind died down I decided I will head out.... winter is almost over so the weather is getting warmer but not warm enough

. As expected I found no herps but still had an interesting hour or so..and it felt good to be back in action again. Ok so my mission: Virgina Bush ( a small nature reserve in the middle of the suburbs here...about a 5min drive from my house)
The only stuff worth seeing were 3 blue duiker and 2 whip scorpions(well not such a good day but still fun)....well let me tell you this...arrrghhh
there was this big troop of vervet monkeys...a few really cute inquisitive babies included. I decided I will try take a photo of the one baby in a tree above me... I got PEEEEED all over.....warm pee on the camera on me on my bag.....arggghhh! it just sat there lookin at me all cute...i hate monkeys! They are still funny tho... but then the troop leader was really starting to get agro...monkeys are fine but as soon as you get near any babies they get aggressive, so I moved on (smelling of pee). I was ****ed! lol
The blue duiker were quite a nice sight as they are very shy creatures and you hardley see them( a really really small antelope about the size of a large rabbit). But as I said they are shy....just the sound of my breathing spooked em...so no photo
ok here we go I just put some shots in here so u can see the terrain I have to deal with and a shot of the monkey a sec before spraying me:
