I am sooooo stoked!

I have been looking for one of these guys for about a year now... this morning I was out about an hours drive from where I live and then there on the floor, well I dunno why it was on the floor, he may be a bit sick...he/she is a bit weak. But anyway...i have found one! They are my fav south african frog...only ever seen pics and now I have one!

i wasn't out herping so I was not prepared for it...had no containers! So I had him in my hands for about three hours... where ever I go I am always lifting up promising logs and stuff....people get so irritated lol. I usually have all my herping tools in my car but I was working so my car was not there...

I have not taken any pics yet but don't worry you will have some soon... i wanna get this guy healthy...there is summin wrong with it...it is very weak but I will make him strong like bull!

well here are some pics... i quickly took em today except for one... i was gonna wait for tomorrow but I knew u would want pics now! It was sunset so his nice colours never came out....wish u could see his bright orange/red eyes! I can't wait for him to settle and turn their bright green colour!

Ok this first pic is late in the day on the day I found him....when found his eyes would not open...i got his eyes opening up a bit as u can see in this pic...



today he is looking much better...getting active..a little stronger and his eyes have opened! but I think he is blind in one eye as it is always dilated...aww shame. I name him "Mr. Bungle"





ok I am keeping him in this smaller "healing" enclosure until I get him into good shape... playing doctor and dad for a while now I guess
