Fresh Water Shrimp

Hey.I own two sailfin lizards and I am thinking of owning waterdragons and basilisks in the future but I still don't know how to breed fresh water shrimp.I know many people never feed fresh water animals such as shrimp and fish to their basilisks or waterdragons but I find a diet mainly of cockroaches, silk worms, mealworms, and crickets very unnatural because these are semiaquatic lizards.Does anybody here know how to breed fresh water shrimp?

I dont know how to breed fresh water shrimp, but I have attempted to feed them to my Chinese Water Dragon, 2 turned them down and my male atleast tasted one and spit it back out LOL. You can feed them pinkeys as 40% of their diet, as whole prey is a very important part of their diets

Hi.I am still not yet sure about adding pinkies to their diet yet.Are they supposed to be high in fat?A few sailfin lizard owners told me they are. When you say that I can feed my lizards pinkeys as 40% of their diet do you mean that I can add them to their 40% diet of whole prey or simply make pinkeys 40% of their diet.

Hehehe, I had a hard time even getting my Chinese Water Dragon to eat feeder fish! first she couldn't catch them, so she lost interest. (Bonked her head a bit too much:P ) Now she's at the stage where she'll eat almost anything from my fingers, so I gave her a fish that way -and just like mshrm's male WD with the shrimp, mine chomped on the thing and spat it out across the tank! Poor fish, I tried to get Heebee to eat it twice but it was a no go.

So it would seem *snickers* that WATER dragons don't like fish? O_o; Well, all dragons are different, but at least some of them appear not to like 'em. I've seen pictures of water dragons happily chowing down on feeder fish, like comets, though.
