New comers in cricket tank?

Hey folks. Been keeping our for a while and even had my first few hatchings.
But started now getting a few strangers in the tank with them.
Got alot of hairy caterpillars and some small flying beetles.
Are these ok in there? can I feed them to my Bearded Dragons and water dragons? how the heck did they get there? what are they?
Cheers for your help. ;-)

Caterpillars and beetles? What are you using as egg laying medium?

I asked someone about those, and they said that they are meal worm beetles and larva. I don't know for sure if that's what they are and I'm not going to take their word for it unless I have proof but that's what one person told me they are, I also have them in my cricket bin.

If they are hairy, they're not mealworm related.

You're right, I just looked up mealworm larvas and all stages of developement and didn't see these little guys. Also did see any meal worms in there.

Here is a pic I just took of one, they are only about the size of a three week cricket or so.

They look like a larva of a hide beetle, the kind that infest dry foods and carpets and things. That's all I know.

Thats the little beggars!

Using sterile woodchip for substrate. And sterile irish moss peat and sand mix for laying.

No idea how they got in unless came in with crickets.

Mine come in with the crickets, I just make sure than when I feed my animals that I don't get any of the little guys in the bag, and if I do, I kill them, I don't however know if they are dangerous.

Oh yeah, I use wheat bran for substrate for my crickets.
