    Bug Burgers, Yumm!

So, I saw AjaMichelle mention bug burgers yesterday and wanted to know if anyone else had experience with them. How long do they last for roaches or crickets? I have about 3000 crickets at any given time and 600-1000 roaches of various sizes. Just trying to figure out if these are worth it. Do you also use water crystals still (I know the website says that it replaces food and water, but want to know what success real people have had with this. I plan on still using oranges and carrots and greens, but this would replace the meal blend I use now.

Thanks for any help you can offer!

I'm also interested in this, I know my Dubias go through more food than I do!

Bug burger is awesome! You mix it with boiling water then it solidifies. Many people use muffin pans to make it and you can freeze the unused portions. And it does replace the need for other gut loading but other stuff wouldn't hurt. My crickets go crazy for it.

I ordered some - so I'll post an update this weekend on how the roaches take to it.

Thank you very much - I appreciate your comment and do try to help others whenever possible. I know I can't be the only one out there with these questions or thoughts, so I figure I'll at least help the next keeper trying to take care of their animals.

It is a powder made by Repashy. I know I purchase mine from a local breeder as most pet stores do not carry it.
