Looking for live feeders

Hey guys,

As some of you already know Ill be getting my very first Green Tree Python in a few short weeks!!! Im almost done with the enclosure but I need help finding a good place to get feeders hes still a baby and hes on live fuzzies right now, does anyone know of a place where I can buy live feeder pinkies, fuzzies, hoppers ect online? preferably a place that will sell small quantities at a time. or if any of you mice breeders want to work something out that would be great too!

why mess with live ones? just get frozen, you can get a huge bag of frozen hoppers, throw em in the freezer and feed when you want to instead of having to kill the mouse first.

You guys are right frozen mice would be soooo much easier! but the handler said that since they are still babies they havent been trained to take dead mice yet which might lead to me changing the topic to how hard is it to train baby snakes to take dead mice who are used to taking live ones? does anyone have any expirience with this (what a dumb question on this forum) I dont want him to hunger strike on me as babies or anything

get a live adult mouse just for this purpose. Rub the live mouse all over the frozen one and your Green Tree Python should smell the live mouse on the frozen one and eat it. If not, keep trying. It's not the funnest thing to have to kill baby mice. You can even keep the live adult mouse handy for the next feeding. Heck, he may turn into a pet! lol
