Shessh. I'm sorry. Is that bad? I was just looking through the forum topics. I figured why not ask in a forum instead of wasting a new annoying topic.

yea bran is oatmeal you can get it at the dollar store in big cans, the plain kind for about 2 bucks usually, i didnt know about using burlap to keep the potato from molding in the bedding though. i use gut load to feed them they pick through all the good stuff first then they are left with the less liked stuff, it makes a good bedding but does mold easily. i have heard you should use well ventilated containers {on other forums} for them but I have the best results with a dark colored sterilite tub with holes poked in the lid, makeshift and easy for me.i also use potato slices. tried lettuce but they ate it in like a day.mine turn in to beetles like crazy as well, the little slip together pieces of cardboard they put in the shipping boxes I have found they really enjoy keeping them lay them down somewhat flat it gives the beetles a place to hid, the mealies like it too. hope this helps you if you have any more questions go ahead and ask I will do my best to answer them.
reviving old topics keeps the mods from having to keep moving or deleting repeated threads. and the forums dont fill up as quick.in fact alot of mods ask that their members do that for those reasons.

Besides, it freshens up the New Topics list. I enjoyed reading it all again. ;-)

Hello,
You can also read this:
http://www.herphabitats.com/articles/mealworms.html
That explains how to breed mealworms, the bedding used, and an easy way to retrieve different size mealies from the bedding. You can access that article directly through the link I posted, but to read other articles, you need to register. Herp Habitats holds a lot of aryticles and pictures, so the bandwidth usage is higher. Since it is higher, we keep the articles and gallery to members only to help reduce bandwidth. (Use a REAL email addy if you decide to join. A confirmation is sent to stop "spammer accounts".)
BTW, revive all of the old threads you want! Its good to get inactive threads live again.
