Creepy looking worm thing.

So, I bought a bag O' crickets the other day at the pet store and discovered a little worm/bug with a lot of legs like a centipede. It was probably not even half and inch long. But, I just thought it was odd to find in my crickets.

Will this creature harm my lizard if he were to eat it? Will it contaminate my crickets somehow with "bug germs"? Where do these creepy bugs come from?

if its a small black hairy bug I think its normal, im not sure why their in their but theres usually one or two in my cricket orders, they eventually turn into small black beetles i've never found to to cuase any problems with my crickets and i've never tried feeding them to anything I usually just leave them alone
maybe if you can get a picture or describe it someone will know if the bug is harmful or not

I've never heard the name for them mentioned before but I find them in my vivs sometimes (only in the moss). They are also in my cricket box but don't seem to be a parasite. Seeing as they have legs I doubt they are internal parasite. They don't seem to hurt the crix either, they might steal their food though, however I think they probably eat the crix droppings. I don't know where they come from or how they got into my tanks, probably in the peat
