I ussually use the Superwormfarm.com to get my bugs becuase their only 2-3 hours away so my bug arrive overnight with priority shipping and are nice an alive but I havnt been thrilled with them in winter.
i pay about $18 for 1000 including shipping with the superworm farm
im going to order from them in a day or two when its in the 40s here but im looking for an alterative supplier for when its really cold out and I need my bugs to arrive alive

Try LLLReptile.com. I get mine from there and it is $17 for 1000 crickets, but they usually have some sales at different times of the year. It's the same price for any size cricket. I have ordered from them a few times and it's been pretty good. Maybe try them.

When I was ordering my crix online I used reptilefoods.com. They have overnight delivery. They included heat pacs in the containers. I only had one box that had a lot of dead and they replaced it the very next day.
The crix were 10 bucks per 1000 but the shipping brought the cost up to about 20 dollars.

I order mine through BugCo. (http://www.ebugco.com). Winter in ND can get a little chilly, but my orders usually come in pretty good. They put heat packs in the boxes too. Course BugCo's in Minnesota, so its only a couple hundred miles. Costs me $16 for 1,000, no shipping. Since you live further away though, I think you'd need to apply shipping if you wanted them there in time.
