ID big gross beetle please
Last night I was sitting in bed reading and noticed something moving from the corner of my eye. Crawling across the pillow next to me was this creature. I don't really mind beetles but I don't want them in bed with me! Anyway I had some AWOL super worms a month or two ago and I thought I had repatriated most of them to their container but maybe not. I know it's not the greatest photo but the head is very similar to the supers. Is this big gross beetle an adult superworm?

Lovely! Hopefully there aren't anymore nesting in my pillow or something, yuck. What shall I do with it? Right now it is being held in a plastic bag since I don't have any clean containers at the moment. Don't worry it has plenty of air.

Just hope they have not matured enough to breed and lay eggs. They can lay anywhere from 100-1000 eggs per female. Just imagine if there were more couples hanging out You could have a farm n your pillow, mattress, floor, walls, ceiling, MOUTH!, and anywhere out in the open!
... I really am serious too.
You could try breeding them in a CLOSED BIN. They aren't very hard to breed and after a month or two it will pay off for sure!
