So this month I figure I need more to keep me busy. I've already started the roach colony which is brand new for me and now I've stepped into another new project getting rabbits for breeding my own feeders. I wasn't going to at first, but after buying the last 3 rabbits the shop, I noticed we had a 1.1 of dwarf rabbits. I figure why not. Anywho these are my first rabbits so its still like a learning curve for me. I know they aren't rocket science, but its neat to watch and play with a new animals. Heres my male rabbit. I've been playing with him all day. He's so cute and soft. The black rabbit in the third pic is the female and she's cute. The males much more fun and cute

I've never had luck with rabbits; when I was a kid I had two rabbits at different times as pets, neither lived more then a year...
So are these pets/breeders while the young are feeders, or is it all bets off?
I don't think I could play with a rabbit all day then feed it to my snake, whenever I deal with live feeders I treat them no different than a cricket.

I don't know how cool or dark your winters are there, but if they stop breeding for the winter.... Use a white/clear heat lamp over a wire cage and give them a 10 on 14 off light cycle and they will usually start breeding again (thats what my feeder bunny breeder does and it works like a charm)
