Do you mean putting the babies in the nesting box into the large container with all of the crix? If thats the case I just put the whole thing in there for an hour or two and 3/4 of them seemed to find their way out. Now though I have the whole bottom of my crix box covered in peat so I just dumped the rest of my nesting tubs into the box. You can also put one small square of an eggcarton in there, most of the little ones will occupy it, then just put that into the large box.
I know how you feel I finally started getting crix babies, but now its the winter and I dont have any extra heat so they are growing very very slow.

I keep ALL the crix in the same container. As long as there is plenty of food and territory (egg cartons, paper rolls, crumpled paper) everything should be ok. The little ones do tend to need the extra heat to help through those first couple molts.

The crix that I originally put in the tub, still look healthy, nice and bright, I put 5 in all together, I put newspaper and cardboard tubes, now the babies are with the 5 I bred, so I was thinking of moving the babies to the cricket keepers, and leaving them in there a while longer seeing as they still look healthy enough to breed again, the room I have them in is very warm so I shouldnt have a problem with the first few molts hopefully, and hopefully in a month or two, I will be overrun with crix and will save a pretty penny

Oh no, I knew something would go wrong, I just knocked the cricket tub over and now there is soil all over it, how will I sort out the babies now, I have moved some just waiting for them to occupy the egg cartons in there, they went everywhere, so I guess I have baby crix all over my house now I need to move them pretty quick now with the soil being all over.

IF they are buried they can usually find their way to the surface, as long as its not too heavy and dense. I would just leave the soil in there until you need to clean it. Its not going to mess with anything, plus they can find moisture there and burrow, or whatever else crix do. Don't worry baby crix can't sing and probably won't last long enough to grow into anything 'creepy crawly.'

I hope so, things tend to live a long time in my house lol, I had a adult cricket the other night staring at me from my bedside cabinet, god knows how it managed to climb up there, I spent half hour chasing it round the room, now my legs are all itchy lol, from kneeling down trying to sort the tub out, sure some crawled up my legs , there are loads of babies tho, wow, some are going through their first molt, I can see them all white,
