I mentioned in another thread about this. I figured I would go ahead and write something up about it. Its simple and easy to do.
What you'll need:
Plastic mixing spoons
Matches
Candle
Blow Torch(if you have one)
Bowl of water
Sandpaper
First thing first. You need to get some plastic mixing spoons. Not the ones from your kitchen though, you may need them to make cookies or other stuff. Best place to go is to a Dollar store, or Walmart. I got these for 97 cents for a 4 pack.

There are 3 sizes. 2 small, 1 medium and 1 large.

For this one I used the small size.
Time to grab some other items to help bend the spoon. Some matches, a candle, or a blow torch if you have one and the spoon. Best place to do this is out side where the smell of the plastic wont get to you or the animals.
Now that you have everything ready to go. Light the candle and let it burn for a min, or light the blow torch.
Place the spoon over the flame on the candle, this candle had 2 wicks so it burned it more than what I needed.

Let it set for a min, it will put off black smoke while it is burning, dont breath that in.
After a min or so see if the spoon is bendable or if it catches fire its time to remove it from the flame.
Take the spoon in each and and bend it till it is a 90 degree or what ever angle you need for what your mounting it on.
I bent this one at a 90 degree angle.

After you bend it, hold it in the position you want it and dunk it in cold water so it will cool off and harden back up. It will take about 30 seconds to harden and it will hold the shape even if it is still springy.
Now that you have you nice new spoon bend you can use it where you want but only after you clean it. The best thing to get the black off of it is sand paper. That is what I used and it worked fine. Did'nt get it all the way off but got the biggest portion of it off.
There you have it. Your new elevated feeding platform. You can attach it to what you want. Piece of drift wood, bamboo, anything you want. You can make a stand for it so it will sit in so you can take it out. Which Ill make a stand later for this one.
