Ok well I seem to have a ton of cricket eaters in here lately,, and the local pet shop raised their prices ridiculously so I am wondering where, and if you order online. Who do you order from and your opinions. I used to order my rats and such from rodent pro and hated having a million rodents in my freezer so I stopped,, well now the prices of frozen rats just doubled 10.99 for a medium So I am now ordering again. lol. I am just looking for a good bug place, lol. I had one and cant seem to remember who they were, lol.

wow, who do you go to get your f/t?! Ouch! I ordered crickets through the site that advertises in reptiles alot (Id get the magizine, but my boyfriend is asleep) But they were decently priced, I ordered 200 and they showed up at my door step, with only a few dead... But now I just go to petco... If you dont want tons of rats in your freezer, Ill split a rodent pro order with you... Do you still come up this way?

Only ordered twice so far. Once the order was perfect, the 2nd time half were dead and they weren't really the size I ordered. BUT they replaced them no questions asked.

Because its cold, the only way you can order them is overnight delivery right now. $26 for 1000. Cost more to ship than the critters cost. In the summer, its only going to be $14 for 1000

Its been a couple of years but I also used to use Reptilefoods and was very happy with them. The only reason I stopped is the local herp shop started doing a "cricket card". You "preorder". Costs me 40 dollars for 1000 crickets and I just go get what I need at any given time and they take it off the card. Its about double what I payed for online and I don't have to have a tub of a thousand crickets setting around. Not tomention not having any of them die off.

thats the part I have never liked about having a ton of crickets around,, you have to house them too until they are fed,, they tend to be a bit stinky for my taste, lol. But it looks like I will be setting up a habitat for them.

update, just got my replacement shipment and they look great. I think I need to start a slightly smaller size next time though. I have a feeling I'll be purchasing some small crix soon. The red eyes and toads can't eat large ones.

I like LLLreptile. When I had my BD I used to order crickets from them all the time. They tend to show up with only a couple dead, and the prices are really good.
