Crickets Online
I've decided to order crickets, because getting them at petsmart is too expensive, and we dont have any mom and pops around here. I found three sites and calculated my prices for them. all prices are for 500 crix.
Reptilefood. com $21.13
Worm Man's Farm $19.98
Ghann's Cricket Farm $19.18
Price-wise i'm leaning towards the last one, but has anyone had experience with any of these suppliers? I dont want to spring for ghann's and then end up with half of them dead! thanks everyone.

Re: Crickets Online
I used to use reptilefood.com. I then switched to Millbrook Cricket Farms | Crickets & Reptile Food

Re: Crickets Online
I use worm man. Lots of people have said they had problems with them in the past, with orders coming in incorrect and then never getting reimbursed. I haven't had a problem with them.
Mail order is definatly the way to go. I spend $20 for 6 weeks worth of crickets. I'm about to up my order to 1000 for the next one ($2 more).

Re: Crickets Online
well good. they said they'll be here tomorrow morning, so thankfully I wont have to drive all the way out to petsmart to buy overpriced crix to tide me over. I finally got fed up with them. last time I got crix from them, half of them died on me.

Re: Crickets Online
One thing about ordering in quantity on line.
Crickets have a very short lifespan (8 weeks) and so grow very quickly. Order a smaller size than what you normally get unless you have enough animals to go through them in a week or two.

Re: Crickets Online
the good thing for me, my guys can eat rather large crickets, so I get them at 1/4 inch and in 6 weeks when they are almost all gone, they are eating 3 instead of 8 at a time.
