succesful switch to mealies!!!!!!!
I bought meal worms for Rosamond today. She hasn't eaten her crickets in a few days so I took them out and switched on her. I put three of them them in a little dish shaped like a tree. She was on her basking spot, eyeing me suspiciously like she does EVERY time I open her cage. I put the dish in and she every so slowly stalked up to it. *sniff, sniff* She looked in and seemed to be thinking "What is this?" then suddenly "Maybe I can eat them!" WHAM she grabs one, runs under her Pothos *chew, chew, chew, breathe, chew chew chew, breathe, bask for a while, grab another* I'm so proud of her, she ate them all in less than 5 minutes! Her tank is very involved now and she was having trouble stalking her crickets, and showing no interest in them, so I figured i'd try giving her a more stationary source of food.
