Here is the adult beetle

From what I've found out from feeder breeders(that's catchy) Supers are full-grown in about a year.

That's a Canadian nickel by the way.

I known what you mean I've had super worms for a long time and only one has ever gone to an adult beetle.

Re: Superworms

99 percent of the time they won't pupate. They need to be kept singly to do so.

Re: Superworms

Mealworms are a thousand times more easier to breed because they pupea in about a week and a half. I feed my Leopard Geckos super worms and the baby Leopard Geckos mealworms.
If your looking to breed worms go with mealworms.

Re: Superworms

I've bred mealies before but they are way too small for monitors.

Re: Superworms

Well that answered one of my questions. If I get to the reptile show I was hoping to stock up on bugs. I was not sure how long you could keep them. My sons male Merlin will eat 5 or more superworms at once. That 25 count cup is not cutting it.

Re: Superworms

I've kept supers for months. Just keep in an area on the cool side. Not in the fridge though.
