Yeah, freezing surplus is a good idea, but I wouldn't keep pinks in the freezer for a year. You may wish to let them grow a bit larger until they reach a size you can either use or sell, if not to a store then local snake keepers. And whatever you do, DON'T use pine bedding for your mice. Use aspen, pine is toxic. I'd also provide multiple exercise wheels. The mice will love them and it will keep them healthy and fit for breeding.
