Best site for live feeders?

I'm really sick of getting my crickets from the petstore... Although I love looking at all the reptiles they have there (Its very tempting to get more, very often I come home with more than I intended) I have to go there way to often, and they only have 2 sizes of crickets. Large and small. Small, are more like medium sized. I hate having to go through picking out the ones small enough for my anoles, not a problem with the WD's though since they're big enough.

So anyone have any good sites they order from? I live in CT, so its still pretty cold up here... Price isnt that big of a deal, I just want them to be alive when they get here and have some small sizes of crickets for the anoles.

And another question. Right now I keep the crickets in a 10 gallon tank, with paper towel tubes, with cricket drink stuff, I used regular water dish before, but most of the stupid crickets would fall in and die. And they have gut load too. But thats for like having 40 or so crickets at a time, I know the minimum order for crickets when you buy them online is like 500 or somthing around there. How big would the set up have to be for something like 500 of them?

There's a place in N.J. called Worrmans

Welcome To Worm Man's Worm Farm

they have always been reliable for me. I use a 30 gallon breeder tank to hold them in. I place cotton balls in the water dish to prevent drowning.

I used to use reptilefood.com. I would order in 1000 at a time and kept them in a sterilite tub about the size of a 20 gal tank. If its going to take you a while to use them up be sure and order smaller thatn wht you actually need as the crickets grow fast. And a cricket only lives approx 8 weeks.

well my Chinese water dragons eat around 15-20 crickets a day, the smaller water dragon a little less sometimes recently (might be because hes shedding though)

And I have 3 green anoles, 1 long tailed grass lizard, and 2 green tree frogs. Most eat anywhere from 2 to 3 crickets each feeding, usualy every other day.

I dont want to breed them now, but once it warms up in the summer, I might *attempt* to, since I have a shed and everything, seems like a pretty good place. Im sure the WD's will be eating even more by the summer time anyways. They're growing fast.

Wormmans got a bad rep and have had for a while. I use Millbrook cricket farm, A local dealer, Reptile food, and Mullberry farms. Mullberry farms has more of worms and such than crickets. Millbrook is 18 shipped for 1000 any size crickets. I use a good size tote for them, 2 feed dishes and 2 water gel dishes. I would suggest using the water gel stuff, its cleaner than the cotton balls, they hold bacteria and all that unless you change them daily.

I use TopHat Crickets out of Michigan. They are only about 3 hours from us and we get a great discount as we are members of the Michigan Society of Herpetology.
