This is what our member has to say: Its also much easier to store 4-500 rodents if they are frozen. They don't eat very much!...

That is true. Depends though, most racks dont take much room. If I had that many though id feed freshkilled. Cause thawing them all would make me want to sell them all.

I wish I had a freezer just for frozen - I would order online and save some $. However, I usually just buy a couple of feedings worth and stick them by the fries and pizzas in the family freezer

I love it when guests open the freezer that don't know I have snakes and see the mice in the plastic bags, it is always a priceless reaction.

Oh, and I have to agree, working at an aquarium, there is a lot more cost in raising food, spending time cleaning up after it, and the smells of racks of live mice have a disgusting smell. It is much easier when you can neatly stack everything on shelves in the freezer, and much cheaper.

Regarding frozen mice, how long can they be kept in the freezer before they are considered no good?

It depends on how they are packaged. If properly packaged 6 months plus is reasonable.
If not properly packaged they will get freezer burned just like our meat will.
