Superworm food

I am raising superworms so I can eventually be self sufficient in my Chinese Water Dragon's staple food supply. But I will be needing to make some food for them, and its got to be nutritious (obviously).

So I am going to go to the grocery and get foodstuffs to be dround up as food for them. What do I get? What dry foods will be good for them and in essence good for my Chinese Water Dragon? Powdered milk? Oatmeal?

Any help will be helpful, by definition.

Nice. I have everything but the babyfod here already. I suippose Cheerios will suffice for a multigrain cereal.. I dont have to go to the store! More importantly, I dont have to spend any money

Thanks, Venus.

Keep in mind that it takes nearly a year before they reach feeding size. At least that's what a superworm grower told me at a show onetime.

How many beetles do I need to have them make me supers? I pupated ~twelve a few weeks ago and I have yet to see any little wiggly things. (two have since died leaving me with ten)

Oh. OK.. The guide says "these are the expected time frames you will be looking at:
Eggs - 1 - 2 weeks
Larvae - 8 -10 weeks"

I guess I got ahead of myself thinking that 8-10 weeks was until feeding size. Now I realize thats just till hatching of the eggs... But should I have more than ten beetles, or does it all depend on how many supers I need them to produce?

Thanks for all the help, guys and gals..

When I was breeding them I had about 30 beetles, but I was feeding an army. I've switched to just having a colony of normal mealies. That way everyone benefits from it and I dont have to have mealies for the frogs and supers for the bigger lizards.
